Here are the answers for most commonly asked question regarding our Live Room Escape games center in Frankfurt. Call for more details: 069 - 30853950
Basically no. Families with children are more than welcome, everyone can participate in the game. Parties of kids only must be 14 years or older. Only if there’s someone under 14, a parent has to be in the room, too. For kids groups below 12 years, two parents have to join the game. For playing “Lost Cabin” you should like gore and horror, since there’s blood and gory stuff in the room.
One team in our escape rooms can be 2 to 8 people.
Each room can accommodate up to 8 people, but we do have more than one room, so for larger teams or events, up to 28 people can play at the same time. Just split your group accordingly. 4-5 people in each room is the perfect team size for maximum fun.
Escape Rooms are quite different from „normal“ team events. There ist no team leader. Why? A team leader needs to have more knowledge than the others. In an Escape Room, everyone is at the same level, since the riddles are new to everyone. In a group with no leader, the magic number „7“ applies: From 7 persons up it gets so chaotic that there is no fun anymore, since a few people will do everything, while the others are doing nothing. You will have maximum fun with 4-5 people in the room. The conecpt „Escape Room“ is not suitable for large groups in one room, in general. That’s not only our rooms, but all Escape Rooms. It’s perfect with small groups. We held more than 10,000 games, so we know what we are talking about and what makes people happy. I myself have played a room with 10 people once in the US, and I can clearly say that I don’t recommend this to anyone, it’s a torture.
You’ll enter the room with your team and first watch a short instruction and mission introduction video. Then you can start the game, look for hidden items, solve riddles and puzzles, in order to complete your mission. There’s a different mission for each room. At the same time, try to find as many treasures as possible to get a higher score. If you finish your mission, your score will be calculated by the time you needed and the treasures you’ve found. You will also get a beautiful certificate for your team.
If you don’t finish your mission in the given time frame, you still had a lot of fun. Of course we will let you out of the room. You can always give it a second try.
Usage of mobile phones or other electronic devices would give you an unfair advantage and therefore is not allowed. Please put your mobile phones in the locker before you play. Taking pictures or videos is strictly forbidden due to copyright reasons. No spoilers please. In case of a mobile phone in the room, we have to terminate the game immediately without refund. If you’re expecting an important call, leave your phone with your game master and he will notify you if you have to come out.
The room is not locked, the emergency exit is always accessible. In case you need to leave early, your game will be over. You won’t get dirty in the room and there are no dangerous things, no real spiders or snakes, but lots of fake ones. It could become a bit scary, but never dangerous.
No. The cameras in the room are for your safety and for us to be able to give you hints if needed.
Normal clothes. You can deposit your jackets in our wardrobe and use our lockers for storing valuables and mobile phones for free.
Unfortunately, no, since you won’t be able to complete the mission. We are sure you’ll find someone to play with you.
Before the game, you will get instructions before and a rating afterwards, so make sure to have 90 minutes available.
Yes, of course. All our games are German and English multilingual.
You can change an appointment to another date. If the appointment is in 14 days or later, this is free of charge. If it’s less than 14 days in advance, we'll charge a fee, depending on how many days left until the appointment.
You will pay a part at the time of booking, and the rest on site. The number of players can be decided on site.
No! All of our adventures are designed by Yoda Zhang and only exist at Escape Adventures. Other Escape Rooms may have rooms with similar themes, but they are not the same room and riddles.
It takes a lot of effort and time to build a room like this. But from time to time, we change riddles. The best way to know about this, is to subscribe to our newsletter.
Of course. Here:
Minimum 16 years without parents, 12 years with parents. Below 12 doesn’t work due to head size.
For the VR Games, there is no restriction.
No, definetely not. You can choose from several games, even taking a peaceful walk in nature.
We have five VR stations, so five players can play simultaneously. No switching of players possible.
Our VR experiences are also Escape Room adventures that need at least 2 players to play the game.
The motion sickness you get in simple home systems results from your eye and your inner ear sending different signales to your brain, because you see movement, but you don’t move in reality. In our systems, you don’t move, but teleport yourself, so this problem doesn’t exist.
If you also own contact-lenses, best to wear these, for more comfort. Smaller glasses fit easily in the VR headset, larger glasses have to be removed. Normally no problem, since the game elements are usually not very far from the player in the game. You don’t have to read far away small print.

Flashpads work for every age. At least 8 years makes sense, and there’s no upper limit. Children under 14 should have an adult with them, but the adult doesn’t have to play. But for sure wants to ...
People higher than 2 meters could hit the ceiling when they jump. And people over 150kg could experience difficulties with jumping or running. Kids with less than 20kg maybe can not trigger the pads reliably.
No, not at all. There are many different games, more or less demanding.
There are several Flashpad games for one to four players together. Each game lasts only one minute, so there’s plenty of possibility for everyone to switch and joing while others are taking a little breather. It’s easy to keep a group of 16 people busy for one hour.
Theoretically, yes, but it's quite expensive, since we have to charge for 2 persons minimum.
Oh yes, lots of fun! For example Temple Escape, where you have to follow an ever-changing path and not step on the lava. Ruby Rush, where you have to collect all the gems that appear quickly, before they disappear again. Snake Pit, where you have to dodge moving snakes. Boogie Nights is a great dance routine for up to four players. Blitz Ball is a ball duel for four players. Stop’n Go, like seen in Squid game, and much more ...
